Did you guys know the case which a certain big TV station might be purchased by the private enterprise?

It was a huge news in Japan.
There was a news that the livedoor, a listed company in those day, bought up a lof of stocks (35%) of Nippon Broadcasting System.
The name of Representative Director is Takafumi Horie.
His name and company became famous immediately afterwards.

In 2005, the reconciliation with Fuji Television which was subsidiary of Nippon Broadcasting System was formed, and the issue of aquiring broadcast rights disappeared.

He grew his hands by political world, and ran for the general election of member of the House of Representatives.
However, he defeated.

He became too famous....

In 2006, he was arrested in violation of Securities and Exchange Law.

He fell to a criminal from a famous person and celebrity.

I thought he was crazy when I watched this news.
Also, broadcasting shouldn't be used for only one company.
